Known for its Tudor Revival and Colonial Revival architecture, the neighborhood was built in the 1930s was designed by builder Morris Cafritz and archtect Alvin Aubinoe using historic homes as models. The Montgomery County Council recently approved the application for the Country to support historic preservation guidelines for Greenwich Forest, impacting those homeowners who wish to make changes or improvements to their homes.
In 2011 there were six homes sold in Greenwich Forest with an average sold price of $797,317.
