Bradley Village lies to the east of Bradley Boulevard and to the southeast of Edgemoor within easy walking distance to the Bethesda Metro, the Betheda Library on Arlington Road, restaurants and shops in the Woodmont area, Bethesda Cinema Row, Barnes & Noble and the Capitol Crescent Trail. The location is fabulous and thus the land value is high. Consequently, it is not unusual to see older and smaller homes being torn down to build much larger homes. Bradley Village real estate is bordered by the triangle formed by Elm Street on the north, Clarendon Road on the east and Fairfax Road on the southwest. These homes are almost all listed as being Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Westland Middle School and Bethesda Elementary School. One home, at least is listed as being Whitman, Pyle, Bethesda, so check with Montgomery Country to verify the school district (240-777-1000).
These homes were mostly built from 1940 on with just a few built shortly after World War II and several in the last 10-12 years. The architecture is predominately Colonial with a few Arts & Crafts among the most recently built. The turnover in the area is very low.
