Arrowood Real Estate
Arrowood has some of the largest and most impressive homes in Bethesda. Arrowood lies off Bradley Boulevard and Burdette Road, north of Burning Tree Country Club and just inside the Beltway. The prices of homes in the neighborhood range from just under $1 million to several million. Many of the properties back to Burning Tree Country Club and have a bump in price because of that. The high price for a building lot with a teardown house on it backing to the Club is $2 million. The neighborhood is the home to some very recognizable names.
The school cluster is Walt Whitman, Thomas W. Pyle and Burning Tree. The roads in the neighborhood are Arrowood, Arrowood Terrace, Arrowood Court, Redwood, Kittery and Kittery Court.
The Arrowood neighborhood has only two outlets, one to Burdette Road which one can take to get to River Road as you pass Fox Hills and then either take a right and hop on the Beltway, go straight out River to Potmac or turn left on River to downtown Washington DC. A great addition to this area was the traffice light at Burdette and river which allows access from Burdette, formerly quite a challenge especially during rush hours. The other exit from Arrowood is by Redwood Road onto Bradley Boulevard.
Arrowood is also quite close to Bethesda Country Club which is just a little farther out on Bradley Blvd.
